Place Nett Floor Area Zone where relevant on all Storeys. (Make sure to include the letters (XA) in the Zone ID)
Make sure all the door & windows which are to be calculated have the letters (XA) in their ID’s.
Make sure you do the same for all storeys.
Place the schedule as well as the Smart XA 15% calculator object into a layout. Update the schedule and insert relevant data fields for the 15% Nett Glass area/ Nett Floor area ratio by opening the calculation object. This must be repeated for each Storey.
If you do not comply, move on to STEP 4 on the Storey Plans under the FENESTRATION folder in the Navigator – View Map as seen above.
Open all glazed Window and Door Selection Setting dialog boxes, under the Dimension Marker tab, select the “Window-Door Marker XA” from the dropdown menu.
Open the XA Window-Door Marker Settings (V4) tab. If your setup was successful, you should see your projects Climatic Zone displayed. Tab to the right to access the settings page. If your setup was unsuccessful, follow the instructions displayed in the User Interface.
Insert all relevant data input fields on the second page of the XA Window-Door Marker Settings (V4) tab page. Once all windows and doors on all storeys have been completed, move onto STEP 7.
Place the schedule as well as the Max aggregates calculator object into a layout. Update the SANS 204 GLAZING CALCULATIONS schedule.
Select your project climatic zone and insert the updated information into the relevant data fields of the MAX AGGREGATES calculator objects for each storey to see if they comply.
